Home / Basketball
The court · USA
Basketball.
NBA nights. WNBA summers. College in November and March. High school gyms that smell like varnish and ambition. Men’s and women’s — same hoop, same desk, same language.
Pro · two leagues
The WNBA is not a sidebar.
It is a league. It gets a line, a slate, and a closer. Sports Authority will not bury women’s basketball under a “more sports” footer. If you came here for NBA only, you will still get NBA — and you will also get the summer, which is when a large part of American basketball actually happens.
No official logoman. City and club wordmarks. The game is enough.
Desk seat: Harlow Vex, NBA. Editorial character, not a verified-record claim.
College & high school
March is a month. November is a tell.
College basketball’s public poetry is reserved for three weeks in spring. The desk lives in the other six months: early-season efficiency, conference travel, women’s brackets that the national conversation still treats as optional. It is not optional here.
High school basketball is the other census — Minnesota, Indiana, Kentucky, New York City, the California circuits. We will hang sample gyms until the live pipe exists.
Desk seat: Sister June Halley, CBB. Editorial character.

All scores on this page are invented demonstration data for design and information architecture. They are not results of actual games.
Possessions are the inventory. Points are the receipt. Skip the first and you are shopping with a rumor.
On/off is not a personality test
A star’s gravity shows up in the lineup number, not in the postgame essay. We will print both. We will rank the number first.
The women’s game already has a market
If your USA sports site discovers the WNBA every May, you are late. The house is not late.
